The OMOTO 0612 Relax Jeans offer a perfect balance of comfort and craftsmanship, made from 16oz nep denim with a distinctive textured finish. The warp yarns blend short cotton fibers (27mm or less) for an irregular, rugged look, while the weft yarns are spun using the traditional “gara-bo” technique, creating a rustic, hand-spun texture with an airy, breathable feel.

Rope-dyed in 100% pure indigo, the yarn develops a deep blue surface with a raw core, allowing for crisp and high-contrast fades over time. Woven on a 1950s GL8 Toyoda Automatic Loom, the slow, deliberate weaving traps air within the fabric, enhancing its texture and durability.

These jeans are unsanforized but rinsed, preserving the natural cotton structure while ensuring comfort from the first wear.
