The OMOTO 3212 2nd Type Denim Jacket is a modern tribute to classic workwear, crafted from 16oz nep denim with a rich, textured surface. The warp yarns incorporate short cotton fibers (27mm or less), creating a rugged, uneven texture, while the weft yarns are spun using the traditional "gara-bo" technique, giving a rustic, hand-spun aesthetic with a breathable, airy structure.

Dyed with 100% pure indigo using a rope-dyeing process, the jacket develops deep, high-contrast fades over time. The fabric is woven on a 1950s GL8 Toyoda Automatic Loom, which traps air in the fabric for a textured, vintage-inspired look.

The jacket is unsanforized but rinsed, preserving the natural cotton texture while ensuring comfort from the first wear. Key details include OMOTO’s blue-green "MIMI" selvedge, a custom-branded sheep leather patch, and reinforced stitching for durability. Finished with original metal buttons and functional chest pockets, this jacket blends heritage craftsmanship with everyday wearability.
